What is one thing you think everyone should know about skincare?

Skincare doesn’t have to be expensive to be effective.

What are some of the biggest mistakes that women make when it comes to their skin?

The biggest mistake I see these days is actually the overuse of products: Too many aggressive products or active ingredients. Nowadays there's so much marketed to us in the beauty world and it can be very overwhelming, so we have the tendency to buy as much as possible. The reality is less is more.

What is your number one skincare tip?

Sunscreen. Every single day. Especially living in Dubai and the Middle East, we get so much sun exposure even on the non-sunny days, and the environmental pollution - it all contributes to the ageing of the skin. In order to keep our skin healthy, glowing and youthful we need to make sure that we protect it.

What would you recommend for a basic beginner skincare routine? (Men & Women)

Keep it really simple: A gentle cleanser, a serum, moisturiser and sunscreen.

What is your personal skincare routine?

So my skincare routine follows the exact same routine: I use a gentle cleanser in the morning, Vitamin C serum, and then I follow it with my favourite moisturiser sunscreen combination products. At night I use a retinol cream every night, then a moisturiser.

What are your top brand picks?

Eucerin, Kiehl’s, Dermalogica, Tata Harper, Elizabeth Arden, Estée Lauder, Summer Fridays.
