Purely Spinelli Kilcollin

Cool, clean architectural lines form the foundation of Spinelli Kilcollin’s luxurious minimalism. As dynamic husband-and-wife duo Yves Spinelli and Dwyer Kilcollin launched their eponymous label in 2010, their line immediately caught the eyes – and the wallets – of fashion’s most renowned editors and luxurious international retailers. To bridge the gap between fine jewellery and contemporary minimalism, Spinelli took inspiration from the cosmos, creating the celestial Galaxy Rings collection using precious metals and traditional wiring techniques. The personalised design can be stacked or worn across three or four fingers, embodying a delicate finish contrasted with just a touch of an industrial aesthetic. Inspired by modern architecture and the complexity in material composition, the brand experiments by combing pavé diamonds on black rhodium-plated rings to juxtapose the simplicity of rose and white gold elements. The luxurious finish to the stackable design dictates just how playful yet elegant fine jewellery can be worn.

Letters from Bil Arabi

Reimagining the incredible world of Arabic calligraphy, designer Nadine Kanso established her vision of its beauty in the form of jewellery-box treasures. Embracing the beauty of self-expression, the Arabic letter “noon” — translating to “n” in English — introduced the label in 2006. What began as a personalised one-off project turned into a cool, refined and bespoke line loved by the Middle East and beyond. Bil Arabi continues to evolve with its reinterpretation of Arabic letters and phrases in precious stones, diamonds, metals and enamels. Bright, unapologetic hues colour pieces that spark conversations with a sense of sweet personalisation. In celebration of Ounass’ third-year anniversary, Nadine Kanso designed an exquisite, exclusive collection aptly named Masar, which translates to “path”. Adapting a classic aesthetic into contemporary luxury, the collection sets hand-cut sapphires in gold hardware shaped into asymmetrical Arabic letters that stand as everyday style statements.

All Things David Yurman

David Yurman began his creative legacy as a sculptor, while his wife Sybil a painter – beginning their careers with an artistic flair sparked them to start a jewellery business together back in the spirited 1970s. It all started when David’s sculptures were brought to life and reimagined as jewellery, crafted in bronze and welded into statement pieces exuding an air of luxury. Every creation was presented at galleries and craft shows aside their sculptures and paintings, soon transforming into pieces representing David’s namesake label and the instantly recognisable mixed-metal designs we all know and love today. In 1983, the iconic piece that became the jewellers’ trademark was introduced: a knotted cable shaped into a sturdy silver bracelet, a simple yet tasteful design that today has become an icon and a collector’s piece for every jewellery magpie’s collection. Beginning its journey in a classic aesthetic of mixed metals and the occasional smattering of diamonds, the icon has been revolutionised over the years with elements of rare gemstones, unique finishes and alluring style that speak volumes. Maintaining an intricate finesse right up until the final finishing touch evokes luxury in a sense that is decadent, desired and determined by all.
